Goals of the competition
The 3rd Annual Under-15 Basketball Competition aims to:
- Foster Youth Development: Provide young athletes with an opportunity to sharpen their basketball skills in a competitive yet supportive environment.
- Promote Sportsmanship: Emphasize the values of fair play, respect, and teamwork both on and off the court.
- Encourage Education Through Sports: As always, the foundation seeks to highlight the importance of balancing academics with athletics, ensuring that participants grow as well-rounded individuals.
What to expect
- Exciting Matchups: Teams from different schools and youth academies will compete in a thrilling series of games. Expect fierce competition, high-energy plays, and moments of brilliance from these budding basketball stars.
- Coaching Clinics: The event will feature a special coaching clinic where experienced coaches will offer tips and techniques to participants, helping them further develop their basketball IQ.
- Skill Contests: In addition to the main tournament, there will be skill contests, including a three-point shooting competition, dribbling challenges, and free-throw shooting events.
Awards and Prizes
The foundation will be awarding trophies, medals, and other exciting prizes to top-performing teams and individuals. Some key awards include:
- First Place Trophy for the winning team, along with cash prizes and sports gear.
- Runner-up and Third Place Trophies for the second and third-placed teams.
- MVP Award for the Most Valuable Player of the tournament.
